Advanced Seat Assignment (ASA) is now available on bmi flights
bmi is pleased to advised that the Advance Seat Assignment (ASA) is now available on all Middle East, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Africa flights. This is across all classes. The benefit for customers is that they can choose their seat at the time of booking.

A few points to be aware of:
1. Customers cannot use ASA to select emergency exit row seats (or any other seats bmi specifically choose to block).

2. Customers will not be able to select a seat at the time of booking if 90% of seats on that flight have already been assigned.

3. Seat selection/change at check-in is still possible for all customers, although seating options will be limited.

4. If there is a change of aircraft at any time after the customer has booked, some seats selected through ASA may not be available; customers would need to review this and take action at check-in. Please ensure your customers are aware at the time of booking.

5. As of today, if a customer holds a booking for a future flight in a class that was previously ineligible for ASA, they could re-visit the booking now their class is eligible and take advantage of the new benefit in order to select a seat.
